The Company and Story
Malili Otoya opened her first boutique in Colombia in 1998.
The elegance, gracefulness and sophistication of her designs led the company
tob e one oft he leading brands in the local market by the year 2000. Her
jewelry has rapidly expanded to other markets such as Ecuador, Panama,
Venezuela and the United States. Her pieces have been constantly published in
fashion magazines such as Fucsia, Infashion, Vanidades, Latina, Brickel
Magazine and Elle Mexico.
To design pieces of jewelry that blend European style and
ideas with local Colombian handmanufacturing techniques, creating unique pieces
of limited production that can be admired internationally.
Luxury and sophistication created by the combination of
precious and innovative materials for a glamorous and exciting style that fuses
the classic and indigenous. Our jewelry is made for women that are frequent
travelers, trend setters and with eye for exquisite craftmanship and cherish
hand made pieces.
Only the highest quality materials are used in each one of
Malili Otoyas pieces of jewelry. In addition to silver, bronze and gold, Malili
uses natural materials such as the colourful mopa-mopa, wood, seeds, tagua,
fique and macramé. One of her recent collections, Fundamental, is based on emeralds
both polished and raw.
In the designer’s own words „ a little piece of my country
and ist traditions in is subtly put into every one of my creations.“
A personalized production process combined with the
artisan’s manual skills make Malili Otoya jewels unique and carefully hand

Malili studied in the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
Her inspiration comes from her artistic sensitivity, innovative personality and
stylish eye. Her designs have caught the eye oft he media as well as
fashionistas, who describe Malili as a „trend-setter“ in the industry.
