From designing her very first bag to critically-acclaimed London Fashion Week shows, Anya Hindmarch has approached every project with the creativity and humour that has become synonymous with the brand. Highlights of the last 25 years include the now-iconic I Am Not a Plastic Bag – for which 80,000 people queued across the UK – three London Fashion Week shows and windows and pop-ups in some of the world’ s leading stores, including Selfridges in London, colette in Paris and Isetan in Tokyo.
This creativity and attention to detail has earned a strong celebrity following, including Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Florence Welch and The Duchess of Cambridge.
In addition to our seasonal collections, Anya Hindmarch Bespoke was launched in 2009.
There are now over 50 Anya Hindmarch stores in 9 countries, including flagships in London and Tokyo, plus a New York flagship opening soon. Despite this global success, Anya Hindmarch still retains the appeal and uniqueness of a niche brand.
Anya also designs the gift bags for the Vanity Fair Oscars party and BAFTA’s, as well being a consultant for British Airways, designing the first class amenity kit for the last 11 years.
Anya was awarded an MBE in 2009 for services to the fashion industry, is also non-executive director of the British Fashion Council, a UK Trade Ambassador and trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts and The Design Museum.
